Last night we were delighted to attend the Digital Jersey Tech Awards for a wonderful evening celebrating the island’s digital community.

We are very proud to also say that we won Technology Project of The Year for our work with the Jersey Information Commissioner (JOIC) on their app development to improve the privacy and information rights of the individuals within Jersey.

The project was implemented as part of a major operational reorganisation of JOIC which included, a brand redesign and the implementation of revised internal processes following new data laws in 2018. Within only 42 days we analysed JOICs requirements, built a secure website and brand, transformed their registration process, created a bespoke user-centric “Resource Room” and designed a mobile app for intuitive comparisons between GDPR and Jersey law.

As the winner of this award, our work was recognised by judges and considered to be the most impressive digital project of the year on the island. The judges considered complexity, adherence to time and budget, the positive impact of the project and how problems were overcome in their decision.

We would like to thank all of those that helped us achieve this award including the JOIC and especially our project partners,  Blue Llama and Digital Jersey and the award sponsors.

Special recognition must go to the team that delivered this project on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard.
